The REC LPFM and Mobile LPFM search tools have been updated. The tools will now no longer consider full power domestic TV Channel 6 allocations when searching for channels 201 through 220. These analog stations will also not appear in the channel reports or the reject reports.
REC users are advised that until the conclusion of the FCC's DTV "night-light" program in July. After that time, the station would have concluded analog services and the data would likely be valid.

Please note, the FCC has also issued a public notice to advise LPTV and Class-A applicants that contingent applications issued prior to the DTV conversion with proposed facilities that conflict with existing analog services that are due to be shut down will be considered as filed on June 30, 2009. It is possible that an LPTV may transition to Channel 6 for either analog or digital service. Please note that REC has seen a growing trend where LPTV stations are moving to Channel 6 and staying analog an using the sound carrier to operate more like a radio station on 87.7 FM. (Channel 6's audio carrier is 87.75 MHz)

A minor change has been made to the Broadcast Query (FMQ) tool to reflect many of the recent DTV related forms around the transition.
