Appropriations have been restored. Government open.
01/04/2019 12:10 AM
CDBS is continuing to flow through applications filed on 1/3 despite it not being a business day, Because of this, we have temporarily restored overnight and real-time updating so we can capture these applications and will continue to keep this functionality on. We are not sure though if CDBS raw data will update during the shutdown but we are getting minimal data through our CDBSBOT system.
Update 01/02/2019 3:00 PM
The FCC has provided CDBS raw data that is updated to close of business 12/31/2018. As a result, we have backed out the workaround and have returned FCC.today and FCCdata to normal operations. We continue to keep the daily updates turned off. We will manually review the situation on Thursday morning to see if we can take a manual update without harming our underlying data.
CDBS and LMS real time data updates will continue to take place while the FCC remains open for business.
Please note that automatic updates for Canada and Australia are not impacted and will remain in operation.
Update: 01/02/2019 12:00 PM
Due to two issues, the impending FCC closedown on 1/3 and the lack of a CDBS raw data feed since 12/27, we are starting a "back-up" process using our methods to obtain older data from the CDBS Public Access system in order to accomplish a form of a semi-full database for FM and AM facilities during the shutdown.
FCC.today: On 1/2, users of FCC.today will see actions and applications from 12/29 and 12/31 in addition to the actions and applications of today.
FCCdata.org/denpahoso.com: Users will see constructed modification applications based on the public access data. This data is not complete but will include many FM engineering items.
REC has turned off all daily updates for CDBS, LMS and ULS. Real-tme CDBS and LMS updates are still turned on at this time.
