To prepare for the conversion to myLPFM, REC Networks is making the following announcements regarding the various websites under REC Broadcast Services:
REC LPFM Search Tool - PC Version - Depreciation Notice
Effective August 15, 2012, REC has declared the current LPFM Channel Search Tool PC Version in a depreciated status. The tool will continue to function until a period of time following the release of the next FCC Report and Order on MM Docket 99-25. The REC LPFM Channel Search Tool, will be replaced by myLPFM Search, REC's new LPFM searching solution. No enhancements related to the next Report and Order will be placed into the LPFM Channel Search Tool PC Version. These changes will be placed into myLPFM Search.
REC LPFM Search Tool - PC Version - Port 80 Service now available
As a part of the conversion to myLPFM and to address ongoing issues with accessing REC Broadcast Services from corporate locations, the REC LPFM Channel Search Tool - PC Version is now available on port 80. This means that you do not have to enter port 8080 in the URL. Port 8080 will continue to function until the shutdown of the depreciated channel search tool.

REC Broadcast Query Tool - PC Version - Port 80 Service now available
As a part of the overall system conversion to myLPFM and to address ongoing issues with accessing REC Broadcast Services from corporate locations, the REC Broadcast Query Tool - PC Version is now available on port 80. This means that you do not have to enter port 8080 in the URL. Port 8080 service will continue until further notice to the large number of links to the Broadcast Query on Wikipedia and other third party sites.
The new URL for REC Broadcast Query is simply http://recnet.net.
FMFIND.info - Flash cut to Port 80 completed
As a part of the overall system conversion to myLPFM and to address ongoing issues with accessing REC Broadcast Services from corporate locations, FMFIND.info has been moved from Port 8080 to Port 80.
The new URL for FMFIND.info is simply http://fmfind.info
ASPEN - Depreciation Notice
Effective August 15, 2012, REC Networks has declared that the current version of Application Status in Plain ENglish (ASPEN) has been depreciated and no future releases will be made to this tool. ASPEN will be replaced by myLPFM Status, REC's new application status system. ASPEN was developed to allow LPFM applicants to monitor original construction permit applications from the original filing windows. Considering that all but two applications have been dispositioned, there is no longer a need for ASPEN. ASPEN could be shut down at any time without any further notice.
REC Encroachment Report - Depreciation Notice
Effective August 15, 2012, REC Networks has declared that the current version of REC Encroachment Report has been depreciated and no further releases will be made to this tool. REC Encroachment Report will be replaced by myLPFM Station, REC's new monitoring and flagging system. REC Encroachment Report will remain active for a period of time after myLPFM Station is launched. LPFM licensees are encouraged to establish an account on myLPFM and wait for announcements on the availability of the new myLPFM Station tool.
