NCE Reserved Band Preliminary Channel Search

With the possibility of a filing window for new noncommercial educational (NCE) FM stations in 2020 or later, this tool is intended to be a first step to determine if it may be possible to license a full-service NCE-FM station in your community. This tool gives a high-level forecast on availability for a new primary non-directional Class A FM station up to 1,000 watts effective radiated power in the 'reserved band' of 88.1 to 91.9 MHz. In some cases, higher power may be possible than what this tool supports. If you wish to move forward based on the results you see here, please contact REC Networks at 1-844-732-5736 for more details!

IMPORTANT NOTE: The information provided in this tool is for preliminary planning purposes only and is in no way authoratative. This data should NEVER be used for filing an application with the FCC. It is merely to give a rough estimate on the availability of reserved band spectrum in the event of a future NCE filing window. Unlike LPFM, there's no viable 'do-it-yourself' option for filing NCE applications. REC Networks will provide full services to assist with the filing of NCE applications and not just for LPFM stations seeking upgrades but for any organization. For more information and to establish a relationship with REC Networks to prepare for a potential filing window which may take place in 2020 or 2021, please contact REC Networks at 1-844-732-5736. We look forward to hearing from you!
