There was a tragedy yesterday right in the area that traditionally was a part of REC's "Area of Interest". I have reached out today to KWSV-LP 99.1 The Ranch to offer any resources that REC can provide. They are a country format LPFM station just north of Thousand Oaks where the shooting took place. This tragedy has had an impact on their listening community. Please visit their Facebook page for details and if you are in Southern California, they may have information on how you can help. If there are any efforts on a more national scale, we will post them here. Again, this happened in REC's original back yard so in that way, it did hit home here. REC sends our condolences to the families of those lost and we send our best wishes and positive vibes to those injured and others who were affected by this.
