Reactivated the NCE Channel Search Tool with new warnings about how availability is calculated in this tool using the point to point method. We have advised users that because of the shape of some contours, a channel may show as available but it may not be actually available and that a full contour study would need to be done.
PREMIS now includes the data from the 6 second and 1 second NCE availability report conducted in September, 2020. This data will not be updated in the Continential US, however, as areas with 1 minute granularity are available, they will be included. The current data only covers the continential USA, Puerto Rico and Hawaii. There are plans to do a 6 second report level for Alaska, Guam, CNMI and American Samoa.
