eLMS has a silence log that keeps track of speciifc incidents of station silence. The silence log is a program that runs in the daily update that looks at each silent STA and silent notification and then matches any subsequent resumption of operations notifications into the same incident. The silence log also keeps archived CDBS history.
With an enhancement released on 6-1-2024, the silence log is now reviewing all LMS era incidents where there was no resumption to check to see if there was a license to cover application filed within 370 days of the silence date. If there is a granted license to cover filed within 370 days of the silence date, the license application filing date will be used as the resumption of operations date.
