MX LPFM applicants in the western USA should be prepared for the upcoming Public Notice that will announce the scores, tentative selectees and the window openings for settlement agreements and objections.
The document is currently in "circulation" meaning that it is being reviewed by the full Commission for approval. Any decisions that involve points in MX situations must go through the full Commission.
On the day the Public Notice is released, day 1 of the windows will open the next day.
During the 90-day window, you may file a major change application to resolve your MX situation. Those applications will be handled first come first served. MX applicants who are tied with the highest score in the group can also file partial settlement agreements for the purpose of aggregation of points.
Concurrently with the 90-day window, a 30-day window will be open to entertain informal objections and Petitions to Deny.
You must be a designated MX applicant to file a major change in this window. Singletons and other already granted applicants can not file a major change.
REC hopes to have more information soon. For now, you can visit our FAQ on the recnet.com website.
