IBFS Integration (325(c) and International Broadcast Stations)
REC released a new release for FCCdata which is starting to integrate data from the International Bureau's filing system. This will allow you to look at 325(c) requests for the delivery of programming to foreign stations (Mexico), you will be able to pull up the Mexican facility on the USA tab of FCCdata in order to view the 325(c) data with links back to the International Bureau. This release also has allowed us to properly list domestic International Broadcast Stations (shortwave).
Prohibited direct inquiries on Google maps
Starting in July, Google is going to start charging for the use of maps after a certain point of usage is achieved. Historically, these maps have been provided by Google free of charge To assure that REC will continue to deliver these maps to our users and clients, we will be putting some restrictions in place.
Our first release has been implemented through most of the REC universe. This requires that an REC mapping element can only be called from a web page operated by REC Networks.
LMS real time updates
On June 21, 2018, REC Networks now offers a real-time view into the FCC's Licensing and Management System (LMS) database. This functionality complements the existing functionality that takes a similar look into the FCC's Consolidated Database System (CDBS). Throughout the weekday, the LMS update will take place immediately after the CDBS update once every 5 minutes. REC's real-time LMS functionality behave similar to the CDBS functionality by looking at all application activity that has a status date of the current day. There is currently a hard limitation that only
New functionality to address not receiving raw data updates from the FCC.
Launch of ARRR
REC has launched a new searchable database of FCC AM/FM unlicensed broadcast enforcement notices appropriately called ARRR. This is to help LPFM licensee organizations to properly vet potential board members to assure that they are in compliance with §73.854. The database is being built. All 2017 data to up present has been loaded.
Quotas on Google Maps displayed on REC services
Due to changes made by Google in regards to their mapping services, REC has had to impose a quota on the number of maps that we can serve on our tools such as FCCdata.org.
At this time, we are imposing a quota of 50 maps per IP address and 300 maps per Class C IP address in a rolling 24 hour period. When the quota is imposed, you will be able to view all information from the site with the exception of the Google map.

Add objection flags and link to correspondence file
These enhancements are for radio applications only.
If the FCC takes action on an application that previously had a Petition to Deny or Informal Objection on it, there will be a new red indicator "Prev Objection". Clicking on that indicator will take you to the correspondence file at the FCC's website. Usually, there will be an imported file with today's date that includes the FCC's decision document.
If an application was dismissed, regardless of whether there was an objection, you can click on the "Dismissed" indicator and it will take you to the FCC correspondence file.
Pacifica programming added to REC-FM
Made substantial changes to the REC-FM to add programming as a result of the new affiliation with Pacifica Network.
IFT Mexican Data
Added new datasets from the Mexican IFT (their regulator). These datasets include infrastructure (basic facility information) and concession (licensee information).
Modify FCCdata on FCC Mexican station records to display a cross reference to the Mexican folio ID and a link to the IFT website where more information about the facility can be obtained.
