Salem Media Group, the publicly traded company focused on conservative and Christian-themed spoken word programming, has two new members of its Board of Directors. One is likely a familiar name to those Inside the Beltway. 

The future of two AM radio stations and an FM translator serving Muscatine, Iowa, presently licensed to the trustee of bankrupt JAM Media Solutions, appears to be in the hands of a locally based media company co-owned by family members who have owned a Chevrolet dealership in the city for some 65 years.

The Marketing Director for two TEGNA-owned stations serving the Jacksonville, Fla., market has joined Hearst Television to serve as Creative Services Director of its CBS affiliate in Iowa's state capital.

Bob Lacey and Sheri Lynch’s company, NOW! Media, will continue to syndicate the show, with Lynch remaining on board after Friday, January 31. No further details have been revealed. Lacey has enjoyed a 54-year career in Charlotte radio, when he joined WBT-AM in Charlotte for nights; the station's signal can be heard across the East Coast after dark.

In the Central Valley of California, a vigorously competitive broadcast TV battle sees Sinclair and an ABC Owned Station fight for viewers against a pair of stations owned by Nexstar Media Group. Those two TV properties now have a new leader — an individual who led "FOX26" and "CW59" in Fresno for more than a decade.
